Description
The Government is seeking interested vendors for the below requirement:
A certified remote Court Reporter to provide real-time, verbatim reporting and transcription services for legal proceedings involving the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers (USACE), Rock Island District (MVR), Office of Counsel, located in Rock Island, Illinois. The contractor shall be responsible for furnishing all necessary personnel, a secure and professional remote work environment, and all requisite equipment, software, and supplies to perform the duties described herein.
Key Responsibilities:
- Remote Verbatim Recording: From a remote location, capture a complete and precise real-time record of all spoken portions of official proceedings.
- Transcription: Produce and deliver accurate, verbatim transcripts of all recorded sessions in the specified format.
- Record and Exhibit Management: In coordination with the Office of Counsel, digitally mark and maintain a detailed log of all exhibits introduced during proceedings. All digital records must be securely labeled, managed, and maintained.
- Read-Back: Be prepared to instantly read back portions of testimony upon the request of presiding officials or counsel.
- Adherence to Remote Protocols: Strictly follow all USACE protocols for remote participation, which includes maintaining a professional and distraction-free environment and ensuring a stable, high-speed internet connection.
