Market research is being conducted to identify potential sources that may possess the expertise, capabilities, and experience to meet the requirements for qualification and production of NSNs 1680-01-631-3650UC, RH Center Drive Unit and 1680-01-631-3646UC, LH Center Drive Unit.
ITEM DESCRIPTION
The components of interest are NSN 1680-01-631-3650UC, RH Center Drive Unit, PN 12688-14, T.O. 1C-5M-4-11 F/11 I/39, and 1680-01-631-3646UC, LH Center Drive Unit, PN 12688-13, T.O. 1C-5M-4-11 F/11 I/38 on the C-5 aircraft , whose primary function is to provide centralized power distribution and control of the thrust reverser system to aid in slowing the aircraft for landings, and other in-flight maneuvers.
IMPEDIMENT TO COMPETITION:
Competition is limited to entities that meet requirements set forth by Distribution Statements and Export Control Notices of the technical data package, which are owned by Honeywell Industries, Inc.
