DESCRIPTION This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial services prepared in accordance with the format in Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) Parts 12 and 13, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; quotes are being requested, and a separate written solicitation will not be issued. The Government intends to award a firm-fixed-price (FFP) contract resulting from this solicitation. This procurement is being conducted as a total Service-Disabled Veteran-Owned Small Business (SDVOSB) set-aside. Only firms verified as SDVOSBs in the Department of Veterans Affairs Veteran Small Business Certification (VetCert) database at the time of quote submission and at the time of award are eligible for award. DESCRIPTION OF REQUIREMENT The Department of Veterans Affairs, Tuscaloosa VA Medical Center, is seeking qualified contractors to provide Triennial Electrical Inspection, Testing, and Maintenance Services for the facility s Electrical Power Distribution System, in accordance with the attached Statement of Work (SOW). Services include, but are not limited to: Triennial inspection and testing of electrical distribution equipment Compliance with applicable NFPA, NETA, OSHA, and VA requirements System testing, reporting, and documentation Coordination with VA Engineering staff and the Contracting Officer s Representative (COR) Participation in site visits, if applicable All work shall be performed in strict accordance with Attachment 1 Statement of Work. TERMS This solicitation incorporates one or more provisions and clauses by reference, with the same force and effect as if they were given in full text. QUESTIONS All questions pertaining to this solicitation must be submitted via email to the Contracting Officer no later than January 9, 2026, at 12:00 PM Eastern Time. The solicitation number shall be included in the subject line of the email to ensure timely review and response. Questions received after this date and time will not be considered. Responses to questions, if any, will be posted as an amendment to the solicitation on SAM.gov. Offerors are responsible for monitoring SAM.gov for updates and amendments. DEADLINE Quotes must be submitted electronically in a single email and received no later than January 15, 2026, at 12:00 PM Eastern Time. Late submissions will not be accepted. Telephone submissions will not be accepted. ADDITIONAL INFORMATION The place of performance is the Tuscaloosa VA Medical Center, Tuscaloosa, Alabama. Award will be made in accordance with the evaluation criteria set forth in the solicitation. The Government reserves the right to make award without discussion.
