Description
This solicitation is posted to contract opportunities as notification that the government intends to issue a sole-source firm-fixed price (FFP) contract to original equipment manufacturer (OEM) Delta T., LLC (dba Big Ass Fans) as allowed per RFO 6.103-1 Only one responsible source and no other supplies or services will satisfy agency requirements. The OEM has issued replacements for warranted products (fan motors) for end-items installed at the St. Petersburg FL Veterans Affairs Regional Office (VARO). The requirement is to remove and replace warranted items (three (3) motors) such that they too will be covered by the OEM warrantee. Per the OEM point of contact, having validated the warrantee claim, an OEM project manager (PM) will be assigned to review availability of vendors with technicians certified and authorized to complete warrantee services within the St. Petersburg service area and will direct that vendor to contact VARO POC to schedule the work. No quotes will be accepted in response to this solicitation. Any quotes submitted will not be reviewed or receive a reply.
