Description

The contractor shall provide all personnel, equipment, tools, vehicles, materials, supervision, except that specifically identified as Government furnished in Section 3, Government Furnished Property and Services, to operate, maintain, and repair the electric generating plants, uninterruptible power supply (UPS), station battery systems, applicable HVAC units and associated equipment (rectifiers, inverters, etc.); located at Owada Communications Station (Owada)(Saitama-ken, Niiza-shi, Nishibori 3 chome 8), U.S. Fleet Activities Sasebo (Sasebo)(Nagasaki-ken, Sasebo-shi, Hirase-cho), Tokorozawa Transmitter Site (Tokorozawa)(Saitama-ken, Tokorozawa-shi, Namiki 6 chome), Camp Zama (Zama)(Kanagawa-ken, Zama-shi, Zama), Yokota AB 714 and Metropolitan Area Network (MAN) Shelters)(Tokyo-to, Fussa-shi, Fussa) as listed in Appendix A, Equipment Listing, and in accordance with existing (IAW) manufacturer’s instructions and commercial standards/practices, any updates, revisions, or changes made to them, or any new or emerging standards that are established. The contractor’s operation service is required for the electric generating plants and its associated equipment only as listed in Para 1.2.1.2 below. Preventive maintenance is required weekly for Owada, Tokorozawa, and 714 Yokota AB. Preventive maintenance is required bimonthly (two times a month) for MAN Shelters. Preventive maintenance is required monthly for Zama. Sasebo is required on a monthly basis.
