Description

Please note this solicitation is not ready to be issued as of this date. The Embassy of the United States in Mexico City will launch the solicitation on SAM.gov when it is available.

The U.S. Embassy in Mexico City requires a contractor to provide vacant property maintenance services for two commercial properties in Mexico City: the former Embassy building at Reforma area and the former Benjamin Franklin Library. Both properties are regularly visible from the surrounding area, and the objective of this contract is to ensure that each site is maintained in an orderly condition throughout the period of performance.

The anticipated performance period is for a base year plus 1-year option period, if exercised by the Government.  All responsible sources may submit a quotation, which will be considered as long as it complies with the RFQ requirements.

The Government may award the contract based on the initial offer without discussion. The resultant contract will be a firm fixed priced type contract.

The Government is planning a Site Visit and the date for this visit will be stated in the solicitation.

Pursuant to FAR 4.1102(a) Offerors must be registered in SAM at the time an offer is submitted in order to comply with the annual representations and certifications requirements. Failure to be registered at the time of proposal submission shall deem the offeror’s proposal to be considered non-responsive to the solicitation requirements and no further consideration will be given. Therefore, you are encouraged to complete the registration process and have an active account in sam.gov prior to proposal submission.

FAQ

How do I use the Market Snapshot?

It summarizes awarded-contract behavior for the opportunity’s NAICS and sector, including a recent pricing band (P10–P90), momentum, and composition. Use it as context, not a guarantee.

Is the data live?

The signal updates as new awarded notices enter the system. Always validate the official award and solicitation details on SAM.gov.

What do P10 and P90 mean?

P10 is the 10th percentile award size and P90 is the 90th percentile. Together they describe the typical spread of award values.
