This item is being procured under the Statutory Authority 10 U.S.C. 2304(c)(1) - Available from only one or a limited number of sources, as implemented by FAR 6.103-1 Other Than Full and Open Competition - Only one responsible source and no other supplies or services will satisfy agency requirements. The Product Identification Description (PID) of these NSN list only one approved source, which is the Original Equipment Manfucaturer BRP-RICO, CAGE code 0ZM57.
The objective of this procurement is to place the item in a firm fixed price, indefinite delivery indefinite quantity (IDIQC) long-term contract (LTC) of a maximum of five (5) years, divided into a base period of three-years (3-year) and two option periods of one (1-year). Option years are to be opted at the discretion of the Government. The total duration of the contract shall not exceed five (5) years. The Government will solicit the acquisition under FAR (Federal Acquisition Regulation) Subpart 12.201-1 Simplified procedures. Certified Cost and Pricing data will not be required. The scope of this acquisition includes all items managed by Defense Logistics Agency Weapons Support for which BRP-RICO Equipment (CAGE/0ZM57) is the original equipment manufacturer (OEM) sole source of the items being purchased. The Government does not intend to bundle these items.
