Description

To support industry partners in their planning and market research efforts, the MARFORSOC Contracting Office is releasing the following acquisition forecast. This information is provided solely for informational and planning purposes to enhance industry awareness of potential acquisition opportunities.

Please note, this forecast does not represent an offer, solicitation, or commitment by MARFORSOC to fund any of the requirements referenced, either partially or in full. All acquisitions remain subject to applicable statutory, regulatory, and funding requirements.
The forecast includes anticipated contract actions with option years that may exceed the Simplified Acquisition Threshold (SAT) of $350,000, in accordance with FAR Part 13.5 procedures. Official contract opportunities and additional details on individual requirements will be provided when actions are announced via the Governmentwide Point of Entry (GPE) or through the issuance of solicitations.

Any references to potential small business set-asides or other socioeconomic programs are preliminary and subject to change. Final determinations will be made during the acquisition process.

MARFORSOC plans to issue Requests for Information (RFIs) or Sources Sought (SS) notifications ahead of each solicitation. Draft Performance Work Statements (PWS) and Statements of Work (SOW) will only be made available at the time of their respective RFI/SS or solicitation postings.

FAQ

How do I use the Market Snapshot?

It summarizes awarded-contract behavior for the opportunity’s NAICS and sector, including a recent pricing band (P10–P90), momentum, and composition. Use it as context, not a guarantee.

Is the data live?

The signal updates as new awarded notices enter the system. Always validate the official award and solicitation details on SAM.gov.

What do P10 and P90 mean?

P10 is the 10th percentile award size and P90 is the 90th percentile. Together they describe the typical spread of award values.
