Description
The 633d Contracting Squadron intends to solicit (via an Invitation for Bid (IFB)), the Simplified Acquisition of Base Engineering Requirements (SABER) for Joint Base Langley-Eustis on or about 2 March 2026. The SABER requirements are for a broad range of maintenance, repair, minor and new construction work on real property. The acquisition will be solicited as a competitive procurement pursuant to Section 8(a) of the Small Business Administration (SBA) Act (15 U.S.C. 637(a) (1)), and the Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) 19.805 and FAR 6.204. The requirement will result in the award of two (2) firm-fixed price Multiple Award IDIQs with on/off-ramp provisions. The IDIQs will include a base year plus seven (7) option years with an overall program ceiling capacity of $320,000,000 across all IDIQs awarded. Task Orders will be awarded under competitive procedures (Fair opportunity) to the lowest price, responsible offeror. The attached draft IFB and attachments are provided for industry comments with all questions/comments due No Later Than 23 January 2025, 2:00PM EST .and must be submitted via email to the following individuals via the format stated in Section L-2.2:M.
