INTENT TO SOLE SOURCE –LANCE
The Puget Sound Naval Shipyard and Intermediate Maintenance Facility (PSNS & IMF) Contracting Office (Code 400) provides this notice of its intent to award a sole-source, firm-fixed-price contract to Stoneage Inc for Lance. Stoneage Inc is the Original Equipment Manufacturer (OEM) and the only source authorized to provide the required equipment parts.
This acquisition is being processed as a sole source award under the authority of FAR 13.106-1(b)(1)(i), which allows for solicitation from a single source when circumstances deem only one source reasonably available. A Justification and Approval for Other Than Full and Open Competition has been prepared to support this determination.
THIS NOTICE IS FOR INFORMATIONAL PURPOSES ONLY AND IS NOT A REQUEST FOR QUOTES OR OFFERS. No solicitation will be issued. Any prospective contractor must be registered in the System for Award Management (SAM) in order to be eligible for award.
