This is a Sources Sought Notice ONLY. The U.S. Government is conducting Market Research only to determine the availability of qualified sources capable of providing Wheelchair Transportation Services for the VA Puget Sound Healthcare System. Potential Contractors are invited to provide a response via e-mail to Contract Specialist at james.harris13@va.gov by April 15th, 2026 @12:00 (PST). Responses will be used to determine the appropriate strategy for a potential acquisition. Please clearly identify any information your company considers sensitive or proprietary. This notice is issued solely for information and planning purposes - it does not constitute a Request for Proposal (RFP), or a promise to issue an RFP in the future. This notice does not commit the U.S. Government to contract for any supply or service. Further, the U.S. Government is not seeking quotes, or proposals at this time and will not accept unsolicited quotes in response to this Pre-solicitation Notice. The U.S. Government will not pay for any information or administrative costs incurred in response to this notice. Submittals will not be returned to the responder. Not responding to this Pre-solicitation Notice does not preclude participation in any future Request for Quotation (RFQ), if any is issued.
BACKGROUND: The contractor shall provide all vehicles, personnel, management, supplies, equipment, and necessary reporting for the provision of Wheelchair Transports. The contactor shall make these Wheelchair Transportation Services available to the VA as needed, 24 hours a day, seven days a week (24/7), including weekends and holidays. The purpose of this contract is to provide Wheelchair Transportation Services for VA beneficiaries within the VA Puget Sound Healthcare System catchment area, and counties outlined in the attached Performance Work Statement (PWS).
