Description

MICC Fort Hood intends to award a Sole source Firm-Fixed-Price Contract for Fort Hood telecommunication/Internet services . The North American Industrial Classification System (NAICS) code for this procurement is 517111 Wired Telecommunications Carriers; Business size standard is 1,500 employees. Pursuant to FAR 13.106-1(b)(1), this requirement will be competed as other than full and open competition. See Performance Work Statement (PWS), located at the bottom of the attachment, for full requirement details. Submission of quotations are not required, the purpose of this solicitation is to provide a notice of government intention to award sole source. The Contracting Officer intends to make an award without discussion; however, that does not prevent the Contracting Officer from holding discussions if it is in the best interests of the government. All quotes must reference and acknowledge all amendments posted to this solicitation, if applicable. No hard copies or CD will be accepted. All questions must be submitted no later than 3:00 PM Central Time (UTC-5) on December 31, 2025, to both the Contract Specialist and the Contracting Officer at the above email addresses. E-mail is the preferred method for questions. Requests shall be marked with solicitation number W91151-26-Q-A010. Description: This is a non-personal service contract to establish and provide high- speed and secure wireless internet for government, contractors, inventory systems, and security devices throughout a warehouse facility. Existing internet service is installed at the place of performance. Period of Performance: Subject to Change Base Year: 15 January 2026 to 14 January 2027 Option Year 1: 15 January 2027 to 14 January 2028 Option Year 2: 15 January 2028 to 14 January 2029 Option Year 3: 15 January 2029 to 14 January 2030 Option Year 4: 15 January 2030 to 14 January 2031 Description of Deliverable: Complete site survey and network design report. Install and configure internet and LAN/WLAN infrastructure. Test and verify report with performance benchmarks. Install structured cabling (Category 6A or higher) for data drops, access points, and backbone connections. Install and configure managed network switches, routers, and firewalls meeting DoD-compliant security standards. Deploy Wi-Fi 6 (802.11ax) access points ensuring full coverage across the warehouse, administrative offices, and loading zones. Install network racks, patch panels, cable management, and surge protection systems. Perform cable labeling, routing, and certification testing. Please see attachment.
