Description

U.S. Embassy Prague – Repair/ replacement of Air Conditioning System/ 19EZ8026Q0003

The Embassy of the United States of America in Prague invites qualified HVAC contractors to submit quotations for the replacement of the air conditioning system serving the public waiting Consular room in the Chancery building at Tržiště 15/365, Praha 1.

Scope of Work

The contractor shall provide all labor, materials, tools, and supervision to:

  • Dismantle and remove the existing AC system, including 2 outdoor and 3 indoor Toshiba VRF units.
  • Supply and install new Toshiba VRF/VRV equipment and accessories substantially as follows:
  • Outdoor units: MMY-MUP0801 HT8P-E and MMY-MUP1001 HT8P-E
  • Indoor units: MMC-UP0361 HP-E (1 pc) and MMC-AP0244H-E (2 pcs)
  • Controllers: RBC-AMSU52-E (4 pcs) and RBC-ASCU32Y (1 pc)
  • Associated copper pipes, electrical cabling, splitters, and other necessary installation materials.
  • Refill R410A refrigerant (approx. 26 kg).
  • Service the existing AC system as required and perform full testing and commissioning.
  • Provide updated system documentation, operating and maintenance information, and basic training for designated Embassy staff.

Schedule and Standards

The expected performance period is 30 calendar days from Contract Award, including survey/design, installation, and commissioning. All work shall comply with applicable Czech national standards and relevant U.S. codes/standards, whichever are more stringent.
