MHAFB is gauging the interest of total small business set aside with further potential set aside into socioeconomic categorys.
Contracting is requiring the replacement of the antiquated fire alarm system of two MHAFB dormitories with a new fire alarm system. The following work shall be IAW with manufacture instructions in conjunction with the SOW.
The main scope for this project is to replace the existing fire alarm devices and associated Fire Alarm Panel with a new devices (smoke and heat) and an addressable Fire Alarm Panel / Mass Notification System (FA/MNS) throughout the dormitories, with radio communications to the Fire Department.
- A new FA/MNS will be installed in accordance with Specifications, NFPA 72, UFC 30600-01, UFC 4-021-01, and the Architectural Barriers Act (ABA).
- A new FA/MNS will be sole sourced as a Silent Knight EVS Series FA/MNS
- A new FA/MNS will communicate with the MHAFB AES IntelliNet 2.0 base-wide monitoring system.
- A new FA/MNS will be equipped with a compatible radio transmitter and VHF omni-directional antenna.
- The project will be performed in two stages, sequentially, as denoted by:
- Base for Building 2318
- Option 1 (if exercised) for Building 2416.
All IAW the statement of work (SOW).
The magnitude of this project is between $1,000,000 to $5,000,000.
