Non-Personal Services - Power Converter Maintenance for Fort Sill, Oklahoma
The Mission and Installation Contracting Command (MICC) Fort Sill has a requirement for preventative and corrective maintenance and repair of Solid State Frequency Converters (SSFCs) and Power Distribution Units (PDUs) for the 30th Air Defense Artillery (ADA) Brigade (BDE). The 30th ADA BDE School uses twenty (20) Hobart Ground Power Systems, PoWerMaster® ADV series 500049 180kVA AC SSFC, nine (9) ITW/GSE Hobart Ground Power Systems, Hobart PoWerMaster® 2400 60SX240, 60kVA Solid State Ground Power Units (GPU), one (1) FCX systems, Inc. Model PFCC048-v-40-AM-24P 200/115V, 400Hz, 60kVA SSFC, and forty (40) Wolf Power PDUs. The contractor shall provide personnel, equipment, materials, and supervision necessary to conduct scheduled preventive maintenance, unscheduled corrective maintenance to ensure continued availability of high frequency (400Hz) electrical power needed to prevent any disruption to ADA school training and operations, and reconfigure 400 Hz commercial power converters and PDUs as needed to meet 30th BDE’s future modernization of the Air Defense Artillery’s technical tactical equipment.

The Government will be issuing a 100% set-aside for small businesses under a Request for Quote (RFQ). Contract award will be made considering price only. A Firm Fixed Price (FFP) contract is anticipated. Services shall be procured pursuant to the regulatory direction of FAR Part 13.5, Simplified Procedures for Certain Commercial Items. Expected award shall consist of one base period of performance (1 June 2026 – 31 May 2027) and four option-year periods of performance (1 June 2027 – 31 May 2031). There is no guarantee that any option period of performance will be exercised. The RFQ estimated date of issue is 25 February 2026. All responsible sources may submit a response, which, if timely received, will be considered.
Pursuant to FAR 4.1102, prospective contractors shall be registered in System for Award Management (SAM) database prior to award of a contract. Contractors may obtain further information on SAM registration at the following website: https://sam.gov/. This announcement does not obligate the Government to award a contract, nor does it obligate the Government to award a contract, nor does it obligate the Government to pay for any quote preparation costs.
