Description

This is a Sources Sought notice for domestically manufactured products only. This is NOT a solicitation for proposals, proposal abstracts, or quotations. Per the Buy American Act and Executive Order 14005, the US Coast Guard Civil Engineering Unit is seeking information for domestically manufactured products only, Per the requirements under the Buy American Act and requirements relating to Executive Order 14005 entitled: “Ensuring the Future is Made in All of America by All of America’s Workers”, in the event that a nonavailability waiver request submitted through the Made in America Office (MIAO)’s Digital Waiver Portal is required." Respondents must certify in capabilities statement that products are manufactured in the United States.

The purpose of this notice is to obtain information regarding the availability and capability of all U.S manufactured products that are equal to the following product:

Item: Mini Split air conditioner

o Purpose: Air conditioner for electrical room

o Salient Features:

            Cooling capacity 24,000 Btu/H

            Seasonal Energy Efficiency Ratio (SEER) 18.9

            Energy Efficiency Ratio (EER) 10.3

            Voltage: 208 Volts

            Operating current 10.6 amps

             Cooling operating temperatures 23 degrees to 122 degrees F

            Refrigerant type: R410A

            Compressor: Inverter Driven, Twin BLDC Rotary

o Additional Components Required: None

Capability Statement/Information Sought

All capable vendors should respond with a brief capability statement demonstrating an equal product that is manufactured in the United States by 13 MARCH 2026 2pm AST.

Capabilities statement must also include the following information: 1) organization name, address, point of contact, email address, website address, telephone number, and a tailored capability statements addressing the particulars of this effort, with appropriate documentation supporting claims of capability including meeting Buy American Act manufacturing compliance.
