This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for non-commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in FAR Part 36, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; quotes are being requested, and no other written solicitation will not be issued.

Instructions to offerors, (FAR Part 36) evaluation criteria, and all applicable FAR Provisions and Clauses are attached.


The solicitation number is 70Z02926QNEWO000002 and is issued as a Request for Quotation (RFQ).

The United States Coast Guard is seeking quotations from qualified contractors to perform exterior door repair and refurbishment at the CST & UPH Mult mission Building, U.S Coast Guard Cutter Greenbrier 44 L.E Barry Rd, Natchez, MS 39120. The contractor shall coordinate with the Coast Guard.

Please see the attached Statement of Work for specifications of work, illustrations and POC’s for setting up site visits.

The Scope of work includes, but is not limited to, repainting exterior doors and frames, replacing door closers, weather stripping, lockets, panic devices and strike plated, removing and re-caulking door frames, adjusting doors for proper operation, installing one new door leaf.

Offerors or quoters are Urged and expected to inspect the site where services are to be performed and to satisfy themselves regarding all general and local conditions that may affect the cost of contract performance, to the extent that the information is reasonably obtainable. In no event shall failure to inspect the site constitute grounds for a claim after contract award.
