Description
This synopsis is for a new contract for 1 SOCES/CENM at Hurlburt Field, FL. The contract will be a single award, Firm-Fixed-Price contract awarded under Sealed Bid procedures (FAR Part 14) and FAR Part 36 – Construction and Architect-Engineer Contracts. The acquisition consists of demolishing building 90326. The contractor shall furnish all labor, materials, tools, supervision, and other items necessary to perform work under the contract specifications and associated task orders. A Statement of Work and any other documents specific to this project shall be provided in the solicitation. The solicitation shall be posted on/about 12 March 2026, with an Estimated Bid Opening Date of 30 April 2026, 2:00PM (CST). A site visit will be scheduled and information for attendance will be included in the Solicitation when posted.
The North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) code for this project is 236220 with a size standard of $45.0M. This contract will be awarded in accordance with FAR Part 14, Sealed Bid. Additionally, FAR Part 19, Small Business Programs will be utilized. It is anticipated that this requirement will be 100% set-aside for Small Business.
The Government reserves the right to award a contract to other than the lowest proposed price. The estimated magnitude for this project is between $250,000 and $500,000. Bid bonds will be required with the proposal. Payment and performance bonds will be required within ten (10) days of contract award. The work is required in support of the 1st Special Operations Civil Engineer Squadron. The issuance date for this solicitation is projected to be on/about 12 March 2026, with bids due NLT 30 April 2026, 2:00 PM (CST).
Prospective contractors must be registered in the System for Award Management (SAM) Database prior to award of a government contract. Offerors are further advised that failure to register in the SAM Database will render your firm ineligible for award. Registration requires applicants to have a Unique Entity ID number. Recommend registering immediately in order to be eligible for timely award.
Additionally, the contractors' responsibility determination to be made includes having all prospective contractors having a current NIST SP 800-71 assessment in the Procurement Integrated Enterprise Environment (PIEE). A contractor search in the Supplier Performance Risk System will be made to verify each contractor's assessment has been completed and the security requirements are either fully met or identifies a work plan to implement the remaining security requirements.
