This is a Sources Sought Notice and is for market research purposes only. This Is Not A Request For Proposal, Quotation Or Invitation for Bid. No Solicitation Is Currently Available. If a solicitation is issued it will be announced at a later date, and all interested parties must respond to that solicitation announcement separately from the responses to this sources sought announcement. The Government will not be held accountable for any costs incurred in response to this sources sought announcement.
The 6th Contracting Squadron, located on MacDill Air Force Base, Florida is conducting market research to identify potential sources (Small Businesses) that have the knowledge, skills and capability to perform the work described below. The responses to this sources sought notice will be used by the Government to make appropriate acquisition decisions for this project. All responses are to be sent via email to: thomas.grove.1@us.af.mil no later than 10:00 a.m. EST, 7 April, 2026.
Description of requirement: The contractor shall provide the equipment, labor, and supervision needed to deliver a Material Transfer Vehicle (MTV) that can be loaded from the rear of a dump truck and is compatible with a Cat AP900 Asphalt Paver. The MTV will be used during paving operations on Taxiway Hotel at Avon Park Florida Air Force Range, Avon Park, Florida. The Taxiway Way is designed for Type A traffic. Additional details are in Attachment 1 – SOW.
Submission Details:
All interested, capable and qualified contractors are encouraged to reply to this sources sought notice. Interested contractors are requested to submit a narrative demonstrating their experience in projects of similar nature as described in the SOW. Narratives shall be no longer than 4 pages. All responses are required to be emailed to the point of contact (POC) listed below.
All interested parties are requested to provide the following information in their response:
(1) Name of Company
(2) Email address and phone number of the main point of contact
(3) Business size, socio-economic status and Cage Code
(4) System of Award Management (SAM) Information
(5) Narrative explaining your interest, capability and qualification to meet this requirement
(6) Any additional information that is pertinent to this requirement that the Government should be made aware of.
