Description
The U. S. Army Corps of Engineers (USACE), Walla Walla District, is issuing this special notice to inform industry of the intent to solicit and negotiate solely with the Walla Walla Sheriff’s Office for Law Enforcement Services.
A determination not to compete this proposed contract has been made Pursuant to 10 U.S.C. 2304(c)(1), as implemented by RFO 6.103-1(c)(ii), Soliciting from a Single Source. For purchases not exceeding the simplified acquisition threshold, contracting officers may solicit from one source if the contracting officer determines that the circumstances of the contract action deem only one source reasonably available. This procurement is being conducted under Simplified Acquisition Procedures, only one source is reasonable available.
This requirement is to provide services for Law Enforcement at Mill Creek Project, Walla Walla, WA. The North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) for this requirement is 561612, Security Guards and Patrol Services.
This notice of intent is not a formal solicitation or request for competitive proposals. No solicitation document is available and telephone requests will not be honored. No award will be made on the basis of quotations or offers received in response to this notice.
Interested parties may identify their interest and capabilities in writing to tonya.c.french@usace.army.mil no later than 12:00 PM Pacific Time on March 10, 2026. Any response to this notice must show clear, compelling and convincing evidence that competition will be advantageous to the Government. The intent of this synopsis is for informational purposes only. Information received will normally be considered solely for the purpose of determining whether to conduct a competitive procurement for future requirements. A determination by the Government not to compete this action based on this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government.
