Description
The NATO Communications and Information Agency (NCIA) has issued a Request for Information (RFI) to identify qualified vendors and gather input on a service to support the NATO Intelligence Surveillance Reconnaissance Force (NISRF) and provide it with a Geographic Information System (GIS) data management service.
The purpose of this RFI is to obtain input from industry to help inform the NCIA’s acquisition planning. Responses to this RFI will assist in refining requirements, identifying capabilities, and shaping the strategy for any future solicitation.
This RFI is issued for planning purposes only and is not a request for bids. It is part of NCIA’s effort to ensure it has a clear understanding of the marketplace, available capabilities, and potential acquisition strategies to deliver NISRF the data management service in support of its Intelligence Production Capacity Alignment.
Do NOT submit your RFI response to the Department of Commerce. Submission instructions and additional details can be found in the RFI (attached).
The NCIA reference for this RFI is RFI-186975-GIS-DMS, and all correspondence concerning this matter should reference this number.
The response deadline is 12:00 hours Central European Time (CET) on 30 April 2026.
Your participation in this RFI is greatly appreciated.

FAQ
How do I use the Market Snapshot?
It summarizes awarded-contract behavior for the opportunity’s NAICS and sector, including a recent pricing band (P10–P90), momentum, and composition. Use it as context, not a guarantee.
Is the data live?
The signal updates as new awarded notices enter the system. Always validate the official award and solicitation details on SAM.gov.
What do P10 and P90 mean?
P10 is the 10th percentile award size and P90 is the 90th percentile. Together they describe the typical spread of award values.
