This is NOT a request for proposal, quotations, or bids.
The Department of the Interior, Interior Region 10 ¿ California Great Basin is issuing this source sought announcement as a means of conducting market research to identify business capable of completing a planning study, and all associated documents, to analyze project alternatives to support an Extraordinary Maintenance (XM) Planning report for the rehabilitation of Stampede Power Plant. The planning study must comply with Reclamation Policy; Directives and Standards; and the Principles, Requirements and Guidelines, listed in Section 2.0. This Performance Work Statement (PWS) will produce an XM Planning report. This work does not include final design, bidding service, construction management oversight, or construction of the Stampede Power Plant rehabilitation or replacement.

The North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) code for this requirement is 541620 and the associated small business size standard is $19 million. The information requested is:
1. Name of organization, address including zip code, Point of Contact including phone number and email address, and the organization¿s UEID number.
2. Confirmation of organization¿s active System for Award (SAM) registration with expiration date.
3. Business size and classification to include any designations as Certified Small Business, HUBZone Certified Small Business Concern, Section 8(a) contractor, Service-Disabled Veteran Owned Small Business, Small Disadvantaged Business, Women Owned Small Business, Indian-Owned Economic Enterprises, Indian-Owned Small Business Economic Enterprises, or Large Business Concern.
4. Your company¿s intent to submit a quote should a solicitation be issued. Responses to this notice are strictly for market research purposes and will be used by the Government to make appropriate acquisition decisions.
