BidPulsar Analysis
A practical, capture-style breakdown of fit, requirements, risks, and next steps.
This Combined Synopsis/Solicitation (RFQ 15BBNF26Q00000016) from the Federal Prison System / Bureau of Prisons for FCI Miami, FL has been canceled in its entirety due to major specification changes, and no award will be made under the current notice. The original requirement was for supply and delivery of 8 wall-mount 5.0-ton A/C units comparable to BARD W60AF-A00, using R-454B refrigerant and 208/230 VAC single-phase power with no heat option. Delivery was to be FOB destination to FCI Miami (15801 SW 137th Ave, Miami, FL 33177) within 45 days of order under a Firm-Fixed-Price structure. Given the cancellation, the near-term action is to monitor for the reissued RFQ/amendment with updated specifications and be prepared to rapidly quote once the revised requirements are posted.
Cancel the current small-business set-aside RFQ because major specification changes are required, and then (implicitly) re-compete a revised requirement for commercial supply and delivery of eight 5-ton wall-mount air-conditioning units to FCI Miami under an LPTA, firm-fixed-price buy.

- (Original scope, for readiness) Prepare technical cut sheets/crosswalk showing compliance to each listed spec and “like/equal” comparability to the BARD reference model.
- (Original scope, for readiness) Price as Firm-Fixed-Price including FOB destination shipping to FCI Miami, FL 33177, with lead time to meet 45-day delivery requirement.
- (Original scope, for readiness) Ensure SAM registration is active and include SAM.gov Unique Entity ID in the quote when the revised RFQ is issued.
- Monitor for the reissued solicitation; do not submit under the canceled notice.
