The Department of Homeland Security Science and Technology Directorate (DHS S&T) requires professional Systems Engineering and Technical Assistance (SETA) services to support efforts impacting Federal Government Acquisitions, and Research and Development (R&D) in the areas of Systems Engineering, Standards (SES), and Test and Evaluation (T&E). The S&T programmatic portfolio requires support that can identify, apply and explore technical needs across a full spectrum of research, development, test and evaluation (RDT&E), and Federal Government acquisition engagements. Such disciplines may include: Systems Engineering (SE), Human Systems Integration (HSI), social science; communications and network systems, cybersecurity, software development and quality assurance, data science and analytics, standards development, biometrics, identity access and management, modeling and simulation (M&S), artificial intelligence (AI), machine learning (ML), autonomous systems; explosives, engineering, physics, biology, virology, and chemistry, and behavioral economics.
