Description
THIS IS A NOTICE OF INTENT TO AWARD A SOLE SOURCE CONTRACT AND IS NOT A REQUEST FOR COMPETITIVE QUOTES.
The United States Coast Guard Base Portsmouth intends to award a sole-source purchase order using the procedures at Federal Acquisitions Regulation (FAR) 12.102(a), as it has been deemed that only one source is available to meet this specific requirement due to the Coast Guard requires the original equipment manufacturer (OEM) to custom fabricate hydraulic arm assemblies, bunks, lifting arms, pads & pins needed to repair/overhaul self-propelled hydraulic trailer in order to function properly. The specifications for these items belong to the OEM and are not publicly available. This purchase order is intended to be awarded to HOSTAR Marine Transport Systems for hydraulic parts to repair OEM self-propelled hydraulic boat trailer.
