4) Clarification- Respective offerors shall be responsible for applying an approved liquid-applied intumescent/fire-retardant coating in all areas where work is completed per industry standard.
5) Due to an extension in the period of performance, a second site visit has been scheduled for Thursday January 8, 2026 at 10AM at the USP Canaan Warehouse.
Coordination for any site visit will be scheduled through USP Canaan General Foreman, Max Fries at (570)-488-8019, Mfries@bop.gov. All site visitors will be required to complete a criminal history background check (see attachment) through the National Crime Information Center (NCIC) before arrival to comply with the Federal Bureau of Prisons security requirements. Vendors must complete form labeled "NCIC Criminal History Check" below in its entirety. All forms must be submitted by 12pm on January 7, 2026. 6) Questions relating to the updated solicitation and second site visit shall be sent to Chris Ficken, Contract Specialist, via email at cficken@bop.gov no later than 10AM on Tuesday, January 13, 2026, In order to provide sufficient response time prior to the offer due date, the Government is establishing the above cut-off date for questions about the solicitation. All offerors shall offer in accordance with the current combined synopsis/solicitation to include all amendments (if any) as issued by the Contracting Officer only.
