1. Introduction & Purpose
The Health Readiness Contracting Office (HRCO) – East is conducting market research to identify potential sources capable of providing comprehensive Medical Grade Laundry and Linen Services in support of the Ireland Army Health Clinic, Fort Knox, KY.
This is a Sources Sought Announcement for market research purposes only, in accordance with Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) Part 10. This is not a solicitation for proposals, and no contract will be awarded from this announcement. The Government will not reimburse any costs associated with providing information in response to this notice.
2. Requirement Overview
We are seeking sources with the proven capability to provide high-quality, medical-grade laundry services for either Contractor-Owned or Government-Owned Linen. The scope of services includes, but is not limited to, the laundering and finishing of the following items:
- Patient Gowns & Medical Scrubs
- Bed Linens (Blankets, Sheets, Pillowcases)
- Towels & Washcloths

4. Submission Requirements for Capability Statement
Interested parties are requested to submit a concise capability statement, not to exceed five (5) pages, that clearly details the following:
- Company Profile: Company Name, Address, Point of Contact (NAME, Email, Phone), and Website.
- Business Identifiers: Unique Entity (UEI) and CAGE code registered in SAM.gov.
- Business Size: Indication of your company's business size status under the specified NAICS code (e.g., Small Business, Woman-Owned, HUBZone, etc).
- Relevant Experience: Description of your company's experience providing medical-grade laundry services to healthcare facilities of similar size and scope. Please include at least two (2) examples from the past three (3) years.
- Service Capability: A statement confirming your ability to service the items listed in Section 2, specifying your approach to handing Contractor VS. Government-owned Linen.
