Description
Furnish all supervision, labor, materials, and equipment to fabricate, paint, and deliver the miter gates and parts in accordance with plans and specifications. The set of miter gates contains two leaves. The Coffeeville lower miter gates are approximately 55 feet tall and 62 feet wide each weighing approximately 445,000 lbs. per leaf for a total weight of approximately 900,000 lbs. The Contractor will be required to deliver the gates by barge to Coffeeville Lock. The Contractor will also be required to take ownership of the old gates and haul them off by barge at the time of delivery of the new gates. The Government will offload the new gates and load the old gates onto the Contractor?s barges. This procurement is 100% set-aside for small business. The NAICS Code applicable to this requirement is 332312, the size standard for which is a concern, including its affiliates who number of employees does not exceed 500. The solicitation will only be issued as a direct download at the following website: https://piee.eb.mil.The solicitation will not be provided in a printed paper format; however, the Government reserves the right to revert to paper medium when it is determined to be in the best interest of the Government.
