Description
The Space Development Agency (SDA) intends to issue a sole source, Labor Hour contract for Security Escort services to Avantus Federal, LLC of McLean, VA (CAGE Code 36KW0). The contract period of performance will be approximately 8 months with two 12-month option periods and will have a total estimated value of approximately $12,500,000 (Base - $3,000,000, Option 1 - $4,500,000, Option 2 - $5,000,000). The base period of performance is anticipated to be awarded in February, 2026 through September 29, 2026. Avantus Federal, LLC is currently providing Security Escort services to SDA under an existing contract and the requirement has significantly and urgently expanded. SDA requires that these services continue under a separate SDA support contract.
This award of this follow-on contract will be made under the authority of FAR 6.302-1, Only One Responsible Source and No Other Supplies or Services Will Satisfy Agency Requirements, 10 U.S.C. 3204 (a)(1).
