GENERAL: C.W.Bill Young VA Medical Center, 10000 Bay Pines Boulevard, Bay Pines, FL33744, has a requirement for hardware and software replacement and upgrades to its Biosense Webster Carto 3 cardiology mapping system (Brand Name or Equal). These upgrades will provide the Cath Lab with the latest and most advanced technology for providing physicians with efficient and accurate catheter placements during cardiac catheterization procedures. BACKGROUND: C.W. Bill Young VA Medical Center currently owns and uses the Biosense Webster Carto 3 system for cardiology mapping of catheters in Cath Lab procedures. The current equipment requires replacement due to end of life and updates in order to keep up with changes in technology in the field. A 3D Cardio Mapping System allows the user to select, visualize and manage ablation parameters. The Mapping Module provides rapid acquisition of mapping points based on physician standards. The capability to continuously acquire MEM points, indicators of tissue proximity for MEM-enabled catheters, advanced electrogram annotation algorithms, and advanced map integrity algorithms is required. GENERAL OVERVIEW: Contractor shall provide the C.W. Bill Young VA Medical Center with all the associated equipment, hardware and technical components of the Carto 3 System as well as expertise to provide proper installation and operation. The contractor shall perform to the standards in this contract and all applicable commercial, industry, federal, state, city, and local laws and regulations. The C&A requirements do not apply, and a Security Accreditation Package is not required. TECHNICAL/EQUIPMENT REQUIREMENTS: EQUIPMENT LIST (Brand Name or Equal) CARTO® 3 System Base Package and Clinical Module Package, ConfiDense, CartoReplay , PASO , Ripple, VISITAG Surpoint ,Fam DX, Carto PRIME®, CARTO® LAM, CARTO ELEVATE ,CARTSOUND FAM, SPU CARTO® 3 Workstation Cart 22U 600VA 115V CARTO® 3 Workstation Cart Dual Monitor Arm nGEN System (SuperKit - Generator, Pump, and Remote Monitor) Service and Operator Manuals The Contractor shall provide the following documentation for the proposed systems: Two (2) copies of operator instruction manuals (one (1) electronic and one (1) physical copy)Two (2) copies of service manuals (one (1) electronic and one (1) physical copy) Minimum Warranty The system and accessories shall be covered under the manufacturer s warranty and shall include all parts and labor for the agreed upon time between Dexcom and the Bay Pines VAHCS.
