Project Title: Hill City Shop Door Replacement, Black Hills National Forest, South Dakota

Description – This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in FAR Part 12.  This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; offers are being requested, and a separate written solicitation will not be issued. 

Solicitation 1240LT26Q0037 is issued as a Request for Quotation (RFQ) for supplying all labor, materials, equipment, miscellaneous items, freight and delivery for the removal and replacement of two steel personnel doors and associated frames, thresholds, hardware and accessories.  The removal of wood door and window assembly and replacement with new steel door and window assembly including but not limited to frames, thresholds, hardware and accessories.  The doors to be replaced are personnel doors on the south and east side of the building, and a door-window assembly on the west (front) side of the building. A second door/window assembly on the west side is not included in this project. The 10,604 gross square foot timber-framed building was constructed in 1937.  The doors and windows were replaced in the early 1960s. The building is an occupied Government building that is used all year. The project site is open year around.    

Location: Hill City Equipment Depot, commonly called the Hill City Shop, in Hill City, Pennington County, South Dakota. The elevation of the site is approximately 5,015 feet above mean sea level.
