Description

UC Davis Health in Sacramento, California requests Statements of Qualifications on or before 2 p.m. Friday, March 20, 2026, from qualified architectural firms interested in providing design services for the following project: Projects No. 9558960 East Wing Tower & Radiology SPC and NPC Seismic Compliance The University of California, Davis Medical Center, is part of UC Davis Health and a major academic health center located in Sacramento, California. It is owned and operated by the University of California, as part of its Davis Campus. The acute care portion of the Medical Center is comprised of 14 buildings constructed between the years 1928 and 2025 (including buildings currently under construction). The eight-story East Wing Tower (HCAI BLD-01436) and single-story Radiology Building (BLD-01437) were constructed in 1964, consisting of approximately 120,000-SF. UC Davis Health is seeking a qualified architectural firm to provide design services for the project to upgrade the two buildings from their current classification of SPC-2 and NPC-2 to SPC-4D and NPC-4D. For this RFQ, a multidisciplinary team with sub-consultants is not required. The combined construction budget is estimated at $10,000,000. The project is under the regulatory jurisdiction of HCAI. The University intends to select a single firm as Design Professional of Record for the project. The selected firm is to provide full basic services for preparation of construction documents and construction administration. The selected firm will be expected to sign an Executive Design Professional Agreement that will include lump sum fees for the provision of all basic services up to Design Development. Upon completion of Design Development and at the University¿s option, authorizations will be issued for the completion of Construction Documents, bidding documents and construction services. The RFQ package with additional information and attachments can be downloaded directly from our website at https://health.ucdavis.edu/facilities/work-with-us/consultants/rfq starting Wednesday, February 18, 2026. Statements of qualifications shall be specifically tailored to this RFQ, responding directly to the screening criteria (See RFQ document and Consultant Qualification form available on the above link). After Qualification Statements are received, a Screening Committee will review, conduct reference checks and recommend a short list of firms for interviews. A Selection Committee will conduct the discussions prior to selecting the successful firm. Statements of qualifications must be submitted electronically no later than 2 p.m. Friday, March 20, 2026, to the link to be provided by UC Davis Health. No hard copies will be accepted. Firms interested in responding to this RFQ must notify the University by Thursday, March 19, 2026, to be provided a link to upload their Qualifications package. Questions and requests for the link to upload statements may be addressed via email only to Nicole Quintero, Contracts Administrator, at nicquintero@health.ucdavis.edu. Statements of Qualifications will not be accepted after the date and time stipulated above. Every effort will be made to ensure that all persons have equal access to contracts and other business opportunities with the University within the limits imposed by law or University policy. Each firm may be required to show evidence of its equal employment opportunity policy. The successful firm and their subconsultants will be required to follow the nondiscrimination requirements set forth in the Agreement documents and to pay prevailing wages at the location of the work. The work described in the Agreement is a public work subject to section 1771 of the California Labor Code. Consultant/Design Professional shall pay all persons providing services and/or any labor on site, including any University location, no less than UC Fair Wage and shall comply with all applicable federal, state and local working condition requirements. How do I use the Market Snapshot?

It summarizes awarded-contract behavior for the opportunity’s NAICS and sector, including a recent pricing band (P10–P90), momentum, and composition. Use it as context, not a guarantee.

Is the data live?

The signal updates as new awarded notices enter the system. Always validate the official award and solicitation details on SAM.gov.
