Description

1. The United States Government is conducting market research to identify potential qualified vendors capable of providing commercial emergency response and support vehicles in accordance with defined technical specifications to support of overseas operations. This Sources Sought Notice is issued solely for planning and informational purposes and does not constitute a solicitation.

Responses to this notice will be used to assess industry capability, availability, and potential acquisition strategies. The Government will not reimburse respondents for any costs incurred

2. The Government has an anticipated requirement to procure commercial emergency response and support vehicles to support operational readiness in the country of Georgia. The requirement is intended to enhance fire protection, emergency response, and operational support capabilities.

The anticipated procurement includes the following quantities:

  • Commercial Fire Trucks
  • Commercial Support Vehicles
  • Commercial All-Terrain Vehicles or ATV-like Vehicles

All vehicles must be new, commercially available, and compliant with the Government’s draft technical specifications.

3. Required Capabilities

Respondents shall demonstrate the capability to manufacture, supply, and deliver commercial vehicles meeting or exceeding the Government’s specifications, including the ability to support international delivery to Georgia.

Vendors must also demonstrate:

-experience with international or OCONUS delivery

-ability to comply with export, customs, and shipping requirements

-provision of warranties, manuals, and technical documentation in English

-ability to support training, maintenance, or technical assistance if required

4. This Sources Sought Notice is open to all responsible businesses, including large and small businesses. Respondents shall identify their business size under:

                NAICS: 326299, 339999, 336110, 336211, 336999

                PSC: 4240, 4210, 2310

Vendors must be registered in SAM.org and eligible for award at the time of any future solicitation.

5. Additional Information

This sources Sought Notice is issued for market research purposes only and does not obligate the Government to issue a solicitation or award a contract. Information received will be used to:

  • Determine availability of commercial items
  • Assess vendor capability to OCONUS delivery
  • Support acquisition planning and contract type determination
  • Refine technical requirements and delivery timelines
