Description
This Sources Sought Notice is to research the number of large and small businesses capable and interested in prospective procurement. The USG is seeking sources for the procurement of a Fuel Cell, AFT - Coated, National Stock Number (NSN) 1560-01-527-9480, Part Number (P/N) 7-511641302-001, in support of the AH-64 Apache helicopter platform.
Estimated Quantity (QTY) 50 Each Minimum, 250 Each Maximum. This procurement is essential to support the ongoing maintenance and operational readiness of the AH-64 fleet.
Delivery Schedule: The anticipated delivery schedule is 12 months from date of award at a rate of 4-5 each / month.
Delivery Location: The delivery address will be defined in each delivery order.
This acquisition is anticipated to be awarded in accordance with (IAW) Federal Acquisition Regulation FAR Part 14, Sealed Bidding. The resulting contract is anticipated to be a Firm Fixed Price (FFP) Indefinite Delivery Indefinite Quantity (IDIQ) contract) with a 60-month period of performance with five-priced ordering periods.
All sources must be approved by the Systems Readiness Division (SRD) prior to award. At this time, the only approved sources are Axillon Aerospace (Cage 56221) and The Boeing Company (Cage 8V613).
All interested vendors are encouraged to submit a response showing they are an approved source via email to Contracting Officer, jessica.t.mangum.civ@army.mil and Contract Specialist, candace.m.king.civ@army.mil. The USG will review all responses submitted; however, no reply will be provided by the USG.
This is a Sources Sought Notice. No contract award will result from this Sources Sought notice, and it does not constitute a commitment by the Government. Responses to this Sources Sought Notice will be used by the Government to make an appropriate acquisition decision.
