This notice is issued by Norfolk Naval Shipyard (NNSY) for the sole purpose of conducting Market Research in accordance with Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) Part 10, to provide services for the continual maintenance of machine coolant. This effort is to seek out qualified sources capable of providing services required by the attached DRAFT Performance Work Statement (PWS). All interested parties are encouraged to respond.
The anticipated North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) code is 811310 – Commercial and Industrial Machinery and Equipment (except Automotive and Electronic) Repair and Maintenance. The Product Service Code (PSC) is J068- Maint/repair/rebuild Of Equipment – Chemicals and Chemical Products. The Government anticipates issuing a Firm Fixed Price (FFP) type contract for one Base Year of 12 months plus four (4) 12-month option years.
The Government is interested in receiving responses from all qualified sources capable of providing the services. Large and small companies that have experience with these services are encouraged to respond to this notice by 6 February 2026 at 9:00 AM EST. This notice is for informational and planning purposes only, and is not to be construed as a commitment by the U.S. Government, nor will the U.S. Government pay for information solicited. The Government will not return any information submitted, nor will the Government compensate any company who responds to this Notice.
