Description
The Marine Corps Distance Learning (MCDL) is managed by the College of Distance Education and Training (CDET) which falls under Education Command (EDCOM). CDET is assisted by their Systems Command (SYSCOM) acquisition partners under the Manpower IT Systems Modernization Office (MITSM), Program Executive Office Manpower, Logistics and Business Systems (PEO MLB).
The e-Learning Ecosystem (eLE) is part of Training and Education Command’s (TECOM) Total Learning Architecture (TLA) along with the Marine Corps Training and Information Management System (MCTIMS) and M-Sharp. The eLE provides learning technologies across the Marine Corps for use by formal learning centers and support of unit training programs. The eLE is configured and managed through MITSM and Naval Information Warfare Center at Webster Field, MD and is hosted on Amazon Gov Cloud and other services.
