ALL RESPONSES WILL BE USED TO DETERMINE THE APPROPRIATE ACQUISITION STRATEGY FOR THE POSSIBLE FUTURE ACQUISITION.

Ellsworth AFB, South Dakota is seeking sources interested and capable of modernizing the D-21 Fire Alarm System hardware and software components, this will include a PMI visit 6 months post-upgrade at Ellsworth AFB, SD in accordance with the attached draft Performance Work Statement (PWS). All interested parties are invited to provide information about your company/institution, or any teaming or joint venture partners.

NOTE: IF YOU DO NOT INTEND TO SUBMIT A PROPOSAL FOR THIS PROJECT WHEN IT IS FORMALLY ADVERTISED, PLEASE DO NOT SUBMIT A RESPONSE TO THIS SOURCES SOUGHT SYNOPSIS.

If your firm has an interest in proposing on future requirements as described above, who believe they can meet the requirements are invited to submit, in writing, a capabilities package. Provide responses NO LATER THAN 10 January 2026 to Joseph Mace at joseph.mace.3@us.af.mil. For the capability statement, please include the following:

1. Company name, address, point of contact (POC), telephone number, fax number, email address, website, and CAGE code.

2. Company's business size and/or socioeconomic status (i.e. Small Business, SBA Certified 8A Program Participant, SBA Certified HUB Zone Firm, Small Disadvantaged Business, Service Disabled Veteran Owned Business, WomanOwned Small Business).

3. A positive statement of your intention to bid on this contract as a prime contractor. The information requested will be used within the Air Force to facilitate decision making and will not be disclosed outside the agency.
