This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in Subpart 12.6 – Streamlined Procedures for Evaluation and Solicitation for Commercial Items, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; quotes are being requested, and a separate written solicitation document will not be issued. This solicitation is being issued under the authority of FAR Part 14 - Sealed Bidding.
This is an Invitation for Bid (IFB) will result in award of a firm-fixed price contract. Award will be made using a Lowest Price responsive/ responsible evaluation. The contractor SHALL BID ALL SIX BRIDGE SEGMENTS. The government intends to award One (1) contract based upon overall low bid. However, the government reserves the right to create single project contract(s) based upon funding availability. Terms, conditions, and the requirements, Road Bridge Inspection Reports are provided for this project(s).

Scope of Work Summarized: The contractor shall provide all materials, labor, equipment, tools, transportation, supervision, expertise, and other incidentals necessary, except as otherwise provided in the contract, to successfully complete the following work on National Forest Road (NFSR) utilizing/meeting FP-03 and 24 standards. This project will involve bridge rehabilitation of a variety of critical findings on bridges 272-2.9, 337-1.8, 508-0.7, 831-2.4, 902-1.1, and 911-2.4 that have been identified through routine safety inspections across the Caney, Kisatchie and Winn Ranger Districts, Kisatchie National Forest, in Claiborne, Rapides and Winn Parishes, Louisiana.
