Description
The Office of Management and Enterprise Services (OMES) Central Purchasing division is seeking responses on behalf of the Oklahoma State Department of Education (OSDE) to provide support to the State in its administration of certain obligations under the Individuals with Disabilities Education Act (IDEA) and the IDEA’s implementing regulations (IDEA Regulations). The IDEA and IDEA Regulations require that the State must provide opportunities for dispute resolution between parents and districts, relevant to this RFP is a subcategory of dispute resolution known as State Complaints. This contract will ensure that State personnel are appropriately trained to investigate and issue State Complaint decisions that are factually and legally correct, which is required under 34 CFR §300.151-153, and allowable under 34 CFR§300.704(3. The contract is awarded on behalf of the OSDE for Technical Assistance in State Complaint investigation and development of decisions.
