Description
This is the official solicitation synopsis for Watercraft Operations and Maintenance 82 ATRS Service at Tyndall Air Force Base. This is not a Request for Proposal (RFP). Vendors shall NOT submit proposals in response to this synopsis. The purpose of this contract is to provide all management, labor necessary Program Management, Operation and Maintenance (O and M) and Mission Support for the 53d WEG watercraft mission. Provide all management, personnel, materials, supervision, and other items and services necessary to perform the O and M services as defined in this PWS, Government Furnished Property (Facilities and Equipment) and Services. The nature of this work will demand that the Contractor be capable of quick response to stringent deadlines. The 325th Contracting Squadron intends to issue a formal solicitation on or about 15 July 2025 via SAM.gov (https://sam.gov/) under the solicitation number FA481925R0009. The solicitation will result in a firm-fixed priced contract with a one (1) year base period and three (3) twelve-month option periods. The solicitation will be for a commercial services and prepared in accordance with Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) Parts 12 and 15. This requirement is being solicited as a competitive Small Business set-aside. The North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) code 488330, Navigational Services to Shipping and a Service Code of J020, Maintenance/Repair/Rebuild of Equipment?Ship and Marine Equipment, will apply to this acquisition. The size standard for this NAICS code is $47.0. The contract award will be made on the basis of subjective tradeoff procedures IAW DoD Source Selection Procedures, dated 20 August 2022, where technically acceptable offerors past performance history will be evaluated on a basis significantly more important than cost or price. All instructions for submitting proposals will be provided in the solicitation. The solicitation will only be made available via the Governmentwide Point of Entry (GPE) via https://sam.gov. No paper copies will be issued. Interested parties are responsible for monitoring sam.gov for the release of the solicitation package. To be eligible for contract award offerors must be registered in the System for Award Management (SAM). Registration is accomplished via the SAM website at https://www.sam.gov.
