Description
This is a non-personal services contract to provide qualified Third-Party Inspectors to oversee the Inspection services for Elevators, Dumbwaiter, Chairlift and Escalators. The contractors will oversee and certify equipment to comply with Annual Safety Inspections. The Government shall not exercise any supervision or control over the contract service providers performing the services herein. Such contract service providers shall be accountable solely to the Contractor who, in turn is responsible to the Government.
The Contractor shall provide qualified inspectors to certify the equipment and shall furnish all field management supervision, tools, training and labor necessary to perform inspection certification of the elevators, chairlifts, dock lifts, dumbwaiters, and escalators identified in Attachment 1 at Joint Base Myer–Henderson Hall (JBMHH) and Fort McNair, Military District of Washington. All services shall be performed in a manner that ensures continuous operability of the equipment.
Contractor shall provide a third party certified elevator inspector to observe the incumbent contractor performing annual inspection and testing for the equipment listed in this PWS. The Government Representative will coordinate each inspection with the third-party inspector and the incumbent maintenance contractor for both Joint Base Myer Henderson Hall (JBMHH) and Fort McNair Military District promptly and diligently as required by the standards of this PWS.
