Description
1) Does the work involve a high voltage substation?
The workplace is located at a powerplant with two 4160VAC generating units. However, the work involves replacing switchgear with 480VAC and under.
2) Verifying the work includes replacement of existing subpanels?
Correct, the work involves removing and replacing sub panels DCA, DCB, D1A, and DCC.
3) Would the work involve supplying backup generator power?
Yes. The DCA subpanel is the main station service distribution for the entire facility. The contractor will be required to supply whatever backup generator power they deem necessary to complete the work.
4) Would the work require 24 hr. management?
No. Regular working hours are between 7:30AM and 4:00PM, Monday through Friday. Work hours outside of normal business hours shall be coordinated with the COR two weeks in advance.
