Description
This is a Sources Sought notice to request information for Government planning purposes. Responses to this Sources Sought will assist Defense Health Agency Contracting Activity (DHACA) Healthcare Contracting Division – Northeast (HCD-NE) in planning its acquisition strategy.
This Sources Sought notice is NOT a request for competitive quotes. All responsible sources may submit the information listed below, which shall be considered by DHA for planning its acquisition strategy. The Government is seeking responses from businesses that are interested in this procurement and consider themselves to have the resources, rights, and capabilities necessary to provide these services. This Sources Sought does not constitute a solicitation. Responses to this notice are not offers and cannot be accepted by the Government to form a binding contract. Responders are solely responsible for all expenses incurred associated with responding to this Sources Sought Notice. The acquisition strategy will be made based on responses received to this Sources Sought Notice and will be made solely at the Government’s discretion.
This requirement is to procure maintenance services, annual complete system revalidation, and technical support of our existing government-owned Rees Scientific Environmental Temperature Monitoring System for 1,200 system inputs, divided into 7 management nodes (with the option for expansion). Support includes provision of a 24/7 hotline for resolving system malfunctions, timely maintenance service calls, system user orientation, and repairs with the burden of equipment and supplies for repairs and validation being covered by the vendor. Vendors will adhere to the installation’s security requirements and the institution’s safety requirements. Annual validation will be documented in keeping with all health care industry’s quality requirements and performance standards. Estimated Period of Performance is from July 01, 2026 – June 30, 2031. This requirement will have a Base year with four one-year option periods.
This notice is NOT a request for competitive proposals or quotations. Requests for copies of a solicitation in response to this notice will not be honored or acknowledged. Phone calls will not be accepted. A determination by the Government to not compete this proposed action based upon response to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government. Information received will be considered solely for the purpose of determining whether conducting a competitive procurement is in the best interest of the Government. Interested parties may identify their interest and capability statement (not to exceed 2 pages) demonstrating your ability to perform the required services above. Capability statements must clearly demonstrate the vendor’s ability to service and maintain the Rees Scientific Monitoring System, including access to proprietary software, tools, and qualified personnel.
