Description

The Department of Veteran Affairs Bakersfield VA Clinic is requesting contractors provide brand name or equal that meet or exceed the physical, functional and performance refrigerators and freezers. The equipment feature is essential to the technical requirements to meet the needs of the government as described in the attached solicitation. Please ensure you pay attention to the salient characteristics especially the quantities, colors and finishes. 

1. The offeror’s quote submission shall include the following

- Signed and Dated SF 1449 to include name, address, and telephone number of the offeror, firm's DUNS# and ORCA document in SAM at www.sam.gov

- Authorized Distributor Letter on OEM Letterhead, if the offeror is not the OEM.

- Technical Quote describing the offered product and demonstrating that the offered product is the brand name or an equal product that meets the salient characteristics described in Statement of Work.

- Completed Price Schedule to include unit price, and overall price

- Place of Manufacture and/or applicable BAA/TAA Certificates along with the Concur/Non- Concur sheet on page 2 of this document.

Quotes that fail to include all required documentation and information will be rejected and will not be considered for award.

2. Any offeror submitting a proposal as a joint venture must provide a certification from each SDVOSB joint partner, signed by an authorized official of each partner to the joint venture, stating that the parties to the joint venture:

a) have entered into a joint venture agreement that fully complies with paragraph (c) of 13 CFR§ 128.402; and

b) will perform the contract in compliance with the joint venture agreement. Failure to submit the certification with the offeror’s proposal will render the offeror ineligible for award.

3. Please submit all questions via email only 15 April 2026 12:00 P.M. C.S.T, and will not be considered if received after 15 April 2026 12:00 P.M. C.S.T, to sonja.fields@va.gov. The subject line must specify 36C24W26Q0130 – Refrigerators and Freezers Questions. There will be no automated email notification of receipt of questions. An amendment will be posted to the solicitation addressing any questions submitted by potential offerors.

Quotes must be received via email only 29 April 2026 14:00 P.M. C.S.T,. and will not be considered if received after 29 April 2026 14:00 P.M. C.S.T, Email your quote to sonja.fields@va.gov. The subject line must specify 36C24W26Q0130 – Refrigerators and Freezers Proposal. There will be no automated email notification of receipt of quotes.
