Description

The DLA Weapons Support (Richmond) is issuing this source sought synopsis as a means of conducting market research to identify parties having an interest in and the resources to support this requirement for an Abrasive Waterjet Cutting System.   Potential sources must provide the Waterjet along with turnkey services for: installation including facility drain system and a separation wall, technical data, unloading and rigging, IUID tag, and training. 

For installation activities (drainage, separation wall), the GOV is currently working on making the facility drawings publicly releasable.  The critical goal of this sources sought is to identify waterjet machines which meet the requirements package in the attached draft purchase description.

Interested parties who consider themselves qualified to manufacture or legitimately obtain the listed items/supplies are invited to submit a response to this Sources Sought by the closing date listed on this SAM.GOV posting.  EST. All responses under this Sources Sought Notice should be emailed to avnipemarketresearch@dla.mil with the subject line marked as “ATTN: 26-35-1001”. Responses should not exceed ten (10) one-sided 8.5 x 10-inch pages with a font that is no smaller than 10 point as this is not a request for a proposal but only a request for submission of a vendor's capability to perform this requirement.

DLA WeaponS Support (Richmond) is requesting industry input into the feasibility of the government’s requirements. In your response, please provide:

Comments on the attached statement of work. Please identify with the attached statement of work if your company can provide the requirement as written or propose an alternative solution.
