Description
The purpose of the Tyndall Air Force Base (TAFB) project XLWU 23-5013, Renovate and addition for B1265, is to re-purpose the building and to construct a new addition to the facility. An approximate 2000 sf addition is being built with a secure area. The new facility design will include office spaces and secure areas and a building addition to support the mission. A 65%, 95% and 100% design submittal will be required in the scope of this project. The purpose of the design submittals is to capture and reflect necessary requirement or end user changes to the previously completed design. Geo-technical surveys for the building foundation are to be included in this contract. Slurry boring may require hazardous material to be hauled off site by the contractor. In accordance with FAR 36.204(g), the magnitude of this project is estimated to be between $5,000,000 and $10,000,000.
