Description
The United States Coast Guard Academy (USCGA) Clothing Locker is currentlty conducting market research to identify potential sources that can provide a continueous supply of military swords and scabbards for the U.S. Coast Guard Academy Clothing Locker, supporting inventory needs for initial uniform issuance to the Corps of Cadets, Officer Candidate Students, Direct Commissioned Officers, CGA Scholars, and Reserve Officer Candidates. Sword blades are made of high carbon tool steel or stainless steel and manufactured in the following lengths (inches) 26, 28, 29, 30, 31, 32, and 33. The sword scabbard shall be made of fiberglass or polyurethane tubes 0.040 to 0.065 inch thick.
