Description

1. Description:

This is a Sources Sought Notice and is issued solely for market research and planning purposes to identify potential sources capable of providing the construction needs for the repair of power in accordance with the Statement of Objectives. 

This requirement is for a construction contract to increase the Building 1921 Power capacity. The Government’s objective is to ensure the new power utilities are safe, reliable, and fully functional in support of installation operations.

The Contractor shall be responsible for planning, designing, constructing, and managing all activities necessary to achieve the objectives of the attached Statement of Objectives (SOO). The Government will not direct or control the Contractor’s construction means and methods but will evaluate performance based on compliance with the objectives and acceptance criteria defined herein.

The purpose of the attached SOO is to define the objectives, performance outcomes, and constraints for the construction effort while allowing Offerors the flexibility to propose effective and innovative design and construction solutions. The Contractor shall develop the detailed technical approach and supporting documentation necessary to meet the objectives of the SOO. Please refer to attached SOO and all attachments for details.
