Description

PR15858181 Delta Barrier Maintenance

The U.S. Embassy in Budapest, Hungary requires the monthly maintenance of its Delta vehicle barrier systems. The contract will be for a period of one year with four optional years at the Embassy’s sole discretion, and is expected to commence in April, 2026.
All firms that respond to this solicitation must be technically qualified and financially responsible to perform such a service. At a minimum, each offeror must meet the following requirements to submit a proposal:

  • Have an established business with a permanent address and telephone listing in HUNGARY;
  • Be able to understand written and spoken English;
  • Have the necessary personnel, equipment, and financial resources available to perform the work, including trained, qualified, and licensed technicians to inspect, adjust, and perform scheduled preventive maintenance.
    • The specialist shall be experienced (min. 2 years) in DELTA and HYSEC vehicle barrier systems.
    • The specialist shall be certified with automatic re-starting of HPUs on failure of the electrical power.
    • The specialist shall have maintained a vehicle barrier system in a Department of State facility overseas.
    • The individual shall have a minimum of 5 years general experience in vehicle barrier system and control.
  • Have all licenses and permits required by local, Hungarian law;
  • Have liability insurance in Hungary;
  • Have no adverse criminal record.
