Benyaurd Falk Gearbox Overhaul

The U.S. Army Corps of Engineers - Vicksburg District (USACE-MVK), in accordance with Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) Part 13, Simplified Acquisition Procedures, intends to award a sole source purchase order to Marine Gears, Inc. (CAGE Code: 1EY15) for the overhaul of one (1) Gear Unit – Falk MRSDC-E (coupled to 12-cylinder EMD 645E7 turbo diesel) and overhaul of one (1) Shaft Bearing Cartridge Part Number – Cooper  01EBC800EXAT.  Refer to attached statement of work for complete requirement details.  All work is scheduled to be complete no later than May 30, 2026.

This is not a Request for Quote (RFQ), and no solicitation is available for this procurement. Nevertheless, any firm or individual that believes it can meet the Vicksburg District’s requirements described herein may submit a capabilities statement, which, if received by 4:00 PM CST on 9 February 2026, will be considered.  Responses to this posting must be submitted via e-mail, no phone calls will be accepted. A determination not to compete this purchase based upon responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Federal Government.
